Our JURYZ website and mobile application provides an electronic platform that enables you to search for Legal Advisers suitable to your requirements and to obtain quotes and compare cost estimates from Legal Advisers (“Bid(s)”) to enable you to choose the most suitable Legal Adviser with suitable expertise to provide you with the assistance you need in respect of your legal requirements (“Services”).
When we refer to "JURYZ" or “Site” in these Terms, we mean our website, our mobile application (“App”), and/or the Services or data provided by us, either via our App, our website, social media or any other platform and reference to “Site” below means reference to any or all of them unless otherwise expressly stated.
Where you use our Services via our App these Terms are subject to any rules or policies (the "App Store Rules") applied by Apple, who provide distribution of JURYZ through the App Store (the "App Store"). We remain the owners of the App at all times.

When you pay for services as a consumer you have legal rights. These are also known as 'statutory rights' as they are derived from laws such as the Consumer Rights Act 2015 or Supply of Goods and Services Act 1982 (as amended from time to time). HOWEVER JURYZ provides its Services free of charge to users and operates independently as a search engine to enable you to contact Legal Advisers and as our Service is free to you your statutory rights will be restricted as a result. We advise that you ensure your chosen Legal Adviser notifies you of your consumer rights that apply to any legal services provided by them. Further information can be obtained from your local Citizens' Advice Bureau (www.citizensadvice.org.uk).
These Terms are only available in English. Please ensure you understand these Terms, even if your first language is not English.
You will be able to access the Services of JURYZ by registering your details with us via our website or alternatively by our App as further set out below.

JURYZ App requires an iPhone, iPad or iPod Touch running iOS 8.0 or later. JURYZ may be updated from time to time, to add new features or fix bugs, as such these requirements may also change.

If you do not agree to these Terms whilst using our Site, you must cease using our Site immediately or if you have accessed our Services using our App you must exit it immediately and uninstall it from your device.
1. Service Terms
1.1 These Terms apply to the our website, App, social media or other platforms where we provide access or JURYZ Services. including any updates or supplements to the Site or any Services, unless they come with separate terms, in which case those terms apply. If any open-source software is included in the Site or any Service, the terms of an open-source licence may override some of these Terms.
1.2 We may change these Terms at any time by posting a notice on our Site (usually notifying you of a change to the Terms when you next log on, but such notifications of change are a courtesy and not an obligation. If you are required to accept new Terms, they may be displayed on-screen and you may be required to read and accept them to continue your use of our Site.
1.3 From time to time software updates may be issued. Depending on the update, you may not be able to use the Site until you have accepted any new Terms.
1.4 When using our Services via our App, you will be assumed to have obtained permission from the owners of the devices that are controlled, even if not owned, by you ("Devices") and to download a copy of the App onto the Devices. You, or the owner of the Device, may be charged by service providers for internet access. You accept responsibility, in accordance with these Terms for the use of the App or any Service on or in relation to any Device, whether or not it is owned by you.
1.6 By using the Site or our App to browse or use our Services, you consent to us collecting and using technical information such as IP addresses, Devices and related software, hardware and peripherals for Services that are internet-based or wireless to provide and to improve our Services to you.
1.7 To match you to the Legal Adviser suitable to your requirement, or to ascertain the availability of our Services in your location, will make use of your IP address to ascertain your location. If you use our Site, you consent to us and our affiliates, Legal Advisers and licensees' transmission, collection, retention, maintenance, processing and use of your location data and queries to provide and improve location-based Services.
1.8 Our Site may contain links to other independent third-party websites ("Third-party Sites"). Third-party Sites are not under our control, and we are not responsible for and do not endorse their content or their privacy policies (if any). You will need to make your own independent judgement regarding your interaction with any Third-party Sites, including the purchase and use of any products or services accessible through them.
1.9 These Terms and any document expressly referred to in it constitutes the entire agreement between you and JURYZ and supersedes and extinguishes all previous agreements, promises, assurances, warranties, representations and understandings between us, whether written or oral, relating to its subject matter.
1.10 You acknowledge that in entering into this Agreement you do not rely on any statement, representation, assurance or warranty (whether made innocently or negligently) that is not set out in these Terms.
1.11 Neither you, nor JURYZ, shall have any claim for innocent or negligent misrepresentation or negligent misstatement based on any statement in these Terms.
1.12 No variation of these Terms will be binding unless expressly agreed in writing and executed by a duly authorised signatory of JURYZ .
1.13 These Terms apply to the supply of Services by JURYZ and they supersede any previously issued terms and conditions relating to our Services.
1.14 JURYZ enables you to search and appoint Legal Advisers either in your personal capacity as an individual or if you are a business, to seek advice relating to your business affairs. Use of JURYZ for any other reason is strictly prohibited.
2. Right To Use our App
3. Registering An Account
3.1 In order to use our Services, you must register an account ("Account"). You must be at least 18 years old and must be able to enter into legally binding contracts.
3.2 To create an Account you need to provide us with an email address to enable us to contact you. You will be required to set a password to secure access to your Account.
3.3 You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your Account information and password. You are solely responsible for any activity relating to your Account. Your Account is personal to you and is not transferable to another party.
3.4 When you register an Account you will be able to use our Services either via or website or if you download our App using your mobile device.
4. Using Our Services
4.1 Once your register an Account, JURYZ will notify you when your registration is accepted by returning a confirmation email to you (“Confirmation”). JURYZ will then guide you through the steps you need to take to place an enquiry (“Enquiry”). which is submitted to our registered Legal Advisors to obtain a bid. Please note that receipt of Confirmation acknowledging registration of your Account does NOT mean that your Enquiry has been accepted by either JURYZ or a Legal Adviser.
4.2 Please take the time to carefully read and check your Enquiry at each stage before you submit it to JURYZ. JURYZ is not responsible for error or non-performance of Services arising from errors in your Enquiry. JURYZ reserves the right at all times to reject any Enquiry, in whole or in part, at its sole discretion.
4.3 Upon submission of your Enquiry, JURYZ will send your Enquiry to our registered Legal Advisers to respond to you via our Site with a Bid.
4.4 JURYZ may send you an email to say that we do not accept your Enquiry. This typically includes the following reasons:
- (a) where the Services requested in your Enquiry are not available;
- (b) there has been an error in the description of the Enquiry such that requirements cannot be identified sufficiently to enable Legal Advisers to respond.
4.4 Marketing and other descriptive matter relating to Services are illustrative only, and do not form part of this Agreement between us. You agree that, in placing an Enquiry, you have not relied on any representation or statement by JURYZ that is not expressly set out in these Terms.
4.5 When placing an Enquire via our Site, please take care to ensure that all information that you provide is correct. Our Enquiry process allows you to check and amend any errors before submitting your Enquiry. Please read and carefully check the Enquiry details before submitting it to us. If you need to make a correction, you must do so before submitting your Enquiry. The use of JURYZ and the ability to direct you to the most suitable Legal Advisers relies on the accuracy of your Enquiry. Errors in your Enquiry may result in your JURYZ search directing you to Legal Advisers that are not suitable to your requirements and therefore does not optimise the benefits of JURYZ search facilities.
4.6 WHERE YOU ARE USING OUR SITE ON BEHALF OF ANOTHER PERSON, YOU MUST ALWAYS OBTAIN THEIR EXPRESS WRITTEN PERMISSION BEFORE YOU SUBMIT THEIR PERSONAL DETAILS TO JURYZ. BY SUBMITTING AN ENQUIRY OF BEHALF OF SOMEONE ELSE YOU CONFIRM TO JURYZ THAT YOU HAVE THEIR EXPRESS WRITTEN PERMISSION TO DISCLOSE THEIR DETAILS AND THAT YOU HAVE EXPLAINED TO THAT PERSON HOW THEIR DETAILS WILL BE USED. YOU MUST NEVER SUBMIT AN ENQUIRY ON BEHALF OF ANOTHER PERSON WITHOUT ENSURING YOU HAVE THEIR WRITTEN CONSENT TO DO SO.
4.7 Upon receipt of your Enquiry a Legal Adviser may contact you requesting further information to assist them to understand your Enquiry better and provide an accurate Bid. You will therefore be required to update your Enquiry with additional information which may contain content or images to support your Enquiry.
4.8 Where the Legal Adviser wishes to accept the instruction submitted on your Enquiry, a Bid will be sent to you. We aim to procure that all Legal Advisers respond with a Bid within 48 hours or if due to complexity of the Instruction it is likely to take longer, we ask them to contact you to provide an estimate of timescale with supporting reasons. You may receive one or more Bids from various Legal Advisers to choose from. You accept your preferred Bid by pressing ‘Award’ at your entire discretion.
4.9 Upon your acceptance of a Bid an client matter is created (“Matter”) and the Legal Adviser will send you their letter of engagement together with their terms and conditions (“Engagement Letter”) setting out all terms and conditions of the engagement between you (“Retainer”).
4.10 Whereas JURYZ uses all reasonable endeavours to evaluate the Legal Advisers on our Site including compliance with regulatory requirements of the Solicitor’s Regulation Authority, you are entirely responsible for making all your own enquiries as to the capability and suitability of any Legal Adviser to undertake your matter and the reasonableness of any Bid.
4.10 Any disputes, complaints or concerns about a Legal Adviser should be addressed directly with your Legal Adviser. JURYZ is not a law firm or a legal adviser and has no control over the conduct of the Retainer or its handling or any advice provided by the Legal Adviser. JURYZ is not a party to the Engagement Letter or your Retainer with the Legal Adviser. You hereby agree that JURYZ is released from all liability, claims proceedings losses or damages that may arise as a result of any dispute between you and your Legal Adviser.
5. Fees and Charges
5.1 JURYZ is free to users and you will never be charged a fee by us for use of our Services. JURYZ only charges our Legal Advisers who pay for participation on our Site as Legal Advisers either by way of subscription or agreed fee which is usually a percentage of sums paid by clients in respect of any Retainer. In certain disciplines of law, our Legal Advsiers may not be permitted to charge fees for referrals and in this case our Services will not support those areas of law and you will be notified accordingly.
5.2 When you submit an Enquiry, this is transmitted to Legal Advisers via our Site and Legal Advisers will respond to you if they wish to accept the instruction, with a bid. We always recommend more than one Bid is obtained to enable you to obtain a comparison.
5.3 To enable us to monitor use of our Services, as well as the performance of our Legal Advisers, we require that all discussions surrounding your Enquiry are conducted via our Site and the platform we provide for our users. JURYZ provides users with a facility to provide reviews (referred to below) which assists JURYZ and our users to evaluate performance and standards of our Legal Advisers on an ongoing basis and we urge you to ensure your use this as it assist us to maintain quality standards. We cannot accept responsibility for any business conducted outside our Site which also makes it difficult for JURYZ to monitor and evaluate the performance and response times of our Legal Advisers.
5.4 Please ensure you read the Engagement Letter to understand payment terms of your Legal Adviser under your Retainer. JURYZ accepts no responsibility for any issue or dispute arising in connection with payment terms set out in the Engagement Letter between you and your Legal Adviser.
5.5 Where payment of Legal Advisers is made via our Site, we may use a third party payment provider such as Paypal to facilitate payment to Legal Advisers. Security of your information is important to us. To use our payment services you will need to provide your credit/debit card details to Paypal who we require to maintain levels of security to protect your information in accordance with all applicable legislation. We strongly recommend you read their terms and conditions https://www.paypal.com/uk/webapps/mpp/ua/legalhub-full and in particular, their https://www.paypal.com/uk/webapps/mpp/ua/legalhub-full which sets out how they use and store your information. JURYZ does not store your credit/debit card information at any time. Please note, we will not be legally responsible to you for any loss that you may suffer if a third party gains unauthorised access to information that you provide to Paypal.
5.6 Where you use a third party payment services provider such as Paypal, JURYZ is not responsible for any information you provide to Paypal or how your information is used or stored to enable you to use Paypal payment services, the operation of which is out of JURYZ control. It is important that you understand Paypal terms and conditions at https://www.paypal.com/uk/webapps/mpp/ua/legalhub-full which apply to any use of PayPal services. JURYZ is not liable for any loss you incur relating to the use of Paypal.
6. Your Right to Cancel and Statutory Rights
6.1 JURYZ is provided to you free of charge and therefore rights of cancellation or refund will not apply to your use of our Services.
6.2 When you pay for services as a consumer you have legal rights. These are also known as 'statutory rights' as they are derived from laws such as the Consumer Rights Act 2015 or Supply of Goods and Services Act 1982 (as amended from time to time). HOWEVER JURYZ provides its Services free of charge to users and operates independently as a search engine to enable you to contact Legal Advisers and as our Service is free to you your statutory rights will be restricted as a result.
6.3 Your right to cancel and your statutory rights will apply to any agreement you have entered into with your chosen Legal Adviser. In the event that you wish to cancel following signing an Engagement Letter with your Legal Adviser then you acknowledge that JURYZ is not a party to your relationship with your Legal Adviser and you must notify any desire to cancel as soon as possible directly to your Legal Adviser.
6.4 Further information on your legal rights can be obtained from your local Citizens' Advice Bureau ( www.citizensadvice.org.uk) or Trading Standards office.
7. Your Photographs and Images
7.1 To enable you to submit an Enquiry you may need to supply supporting information which may include content or images. JURYZ needs your permission to use and publish your content or images (“Content”). When using our Site for uploading Content you also have certain responsibilities regarding how such Content is used. It is also necessary to share Content via our Site with our Legal Advisers, to enable them to evaluate your Enquiry to provide you with an Bid.
7.2 You hereby grant to JURYZ a worldwide perpetual, irrevocable, non-exclusive licence to use any Content uploaded by you for the purposes of processing your Enquiry and performing our Services, including the right to sub-licence use of your Content to our Legal Advisers, and all necessary consents including under the Copyright, Designs and Patents Act 1988 (as amended from time to time) or any other relevant legislation applicable to your location to enable JURYZ to change, publish, distribute, exhibit, use the Content for the purposes of enabling you to use our Site and to enable us to perform our Services to you.
7.3 By using our Site and submitting an Enquiry, you expressly consent to allowing our Legal Advisers to print and process your Content and other related functions that are necessary to deliver the Legal Adviser to deliver services to you.
8. Licence Restrictions
Except as expressly set out in these Terms, you agree to the following "License Restrictions":
- (a) not to copy the Site except where such copying is incidental to normal use of the Site, or where it is necessary for the purpose of back-up or operational security;
- (b) not to rent, lease, sub-license, loan, translate, merge, adapt, vary or modify the Site;
- (c) not to make alterations to, or modifications of, the whole or any part of the Site, or permit the Site or any part of it to be combined with, or become incorporated in, any other programs;
- (d) not to disassemble, decompile, reverse-engineer or create derivative works based on the whole or any part of the Site or attempt to do any such thing except to the extent that (by virtue of section 296A of the Copyright, Designs and Patents Act 1988 or equivalent laws in any other jurisdiction) such actions cannot be prohibited because they are essential for the purpose of achieving inter-operability of the Site with another software program, and provided that the information obtained by you during such activities:
- (i) is used only for the purpose of achieving inter-operability of the Site with another software program;
- (ii) is not unnecessarily disclosed or communicated without our prior written consent to any third party; and
- (iii) is not used to create any software that is substantially similar to the Site;
- (e) not to provide or otherwise make available the Site in whole or in part (including object and source code), in any form to any person without prior written consent from us; and
- (f) to comply with all technology control or export laws and regulations that apply to the technology used or supported by the Site or any Service.
9. Intellectual Property Rights
9.1 All trade marks, copyright, database rights, logos, branding, proprietary material and other intellectual property rights of any nature in the Site or any element of our Services, together with the underlying software code anywhere in the world ("Intellectual Property") are owned either directly by JURYZ and/or our Legal Advisers or third party licensors and you have no rights in the Intellectual Property or to the Site at any time other than the right to use each of them in accordance with this Agreement.
9.2 You acknowledge that you have no right to have access to the Site in source-code form.
9.3 You will indemnify, and keep indemnified JURYZ, in full for any claims we incur from our Legal Advisers, processors or any third parties as a result of your using third party intellectual property in respect of any content you supply to us whilst using our Services, which is strictly not permitted and in contravention of these this Agreement unless you have the written legal authorisation to do so from any such third party owner.
10. Acceptable use restrictions
You must agree to these "Acceptable Use Restrictions":
- (a) not use the Site, the App or any of our Services in any unlawful manner, for any unlawful purpose, or in any manner inconsistent with Terms, or act fraudulently or maliciously, for example, by hacking into or inserting malicious code, including viruses, or harmful data, into any of our Sites or any operating system;
- (b) not infringe our Intellectual Property, the Intellectual Property of our Legal Advisers, or those of any third party in relation to your use of the Site or any Services, including the submission of any material (to the extent that such use is not licensed by these Terms);
- (c) not transmit any material that is defamatory, offensive or otherwise objectionable in relation to your use of the Site or any Service;
- (d) not use the Site or any Service in a way that could damage, disable, overburden, impair or compromise our systems or security or interfere with other users, and;
- (e) not collect or harvest any information or data from our Services or attempt to decipher any transmissions to or from our servers running any of our Services.

11. Availability and Content
11.1 JURYZ will use reasonable efforts to make the Site available at all times. However you acknowledge the Site is provided over the internet and where using via our App the availability of our Services relies on availability of mobile networks and so the quality and availability of the Site or our App may be affected by factors outside our reasonable control. JURYZ, our affiliates, Legal Advisers and sub-contractors do not accept any responsibility whatsoever for unavailability of the Site, or any difficulty or inability to download or access content or any other communication system failure which may result in the Site being unavailable.
11.2 JURYZ performs routine scheduled maintenance or where we feel it is necessary to maintain the availability and quality of our Site, including our App and the Services we provide to you, unscheduled maintenance. While we do our best to avoid inconvenience to our users, the Site and our Services may be temporarily unavailable during maintenance periods.
11.3 JURYZ does not promise that the Services will be error-free, uninterrupted, nor that they will provide specific results from use of the Services or any content, search or link contained therein. The Services and any content are delivered on an "as-is" and "as-available" basis. We cannot ensure that content you access through our Services will be free of viruses or contamination or destructive features.
11.4 In particular, if you submit content to our Site, whether articles, images, audio or video footage, narrative, software or other copyrightable material, you must ensure that content does not infringe the copyright or other rights of third parties (such as privacy or public rights) and complies at all times with JURYZ Acceptable Use Policy.
11.5 To ensure we continue to improve our quality of our Services and to comply with our regulatory audit requirements, JURYZ may conduct quality control checks of our Services at random intervals at its discretion. By using our website or our App to use our Services, you consent to our use of content uploaded by you for JURYZ internal quality control purposes.
12. Limitation of Liability
12.1 You acknowledge that it is therefore your responsibility to ensure the accuracy of any Enquiry you submit via our Site and it is your responsibility to ensure the services of any Legal Adviser that submits a Bid that meets your requirements and is acceptable to you.
12.2 JURYZ provides a referral service to Legal Advisers registered with JURYZ to help make your search easier and any result relevant to your Enquiry only in accordance with these Terms and you are fully responsible for ensuring your chosen Legal Adviser is suitable for your requirements. By using our Site you agree that your use of JURYZ is at your sole risk to the fullest extent permitted by law. If you are not content with our Services your only remedy is to cease using our Services immediately. JURYZ shall not be legally responsible for either direct or indirect or consequential losses (such as loss of profits or loss of opportunity, business interruption, loss of data or economic loss) or loss arising from contract (including those incurred under any services provided by your Legal Adviser), tort, negligence, statutory duty or misrepresentation that are incurred as a result of using our Services
12.3 JURYZ shall not be liable for failures in the Site or our Services that arise as a result of:
- (a) you having altered or modified the Site;
- (b) when using the App to access our Services, if you have run the App on a "jail broken" or otherwise modified Device;
- (c) if the defect or fault in the Site results from you having used the Services in breach of these Terms;
- (d) if you breach any of the Licence Restrictions or the Acceptable Use Restrictions.
12.4 We shall not under any circumstances be liable for loss or damage arising as a result of advice provided by any Legal Adviser. JURYZ is not a law firm and registering an account with us does not create a retainer with any legal adviser which occurs separately when you sign the Engagement Letter sent to you from your chosen Legal Adviser. JURYZ does not provide legal advice. Your choice of legal adviser is at your own risk.
12.5 Nothing in this Agreement shall exclude our liability to you for:
- (a) death or personal injury caused by our negligent acts or omissions;
- (b) fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation;
- (d) any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited by law.
12.6 Where you a consumer and any of the above restrictions are deemed unenforceable by order of a court or other regulatory body, JURYZ shall not be liable for any sum in excess of £100 (GBP) in aggregate for loss or damage arising as a result of submission of an Enquiry.
12.7 By using our Services you agree that the restrictions of liability set out in these Terms are reasonable and each one is interpreted separately and independently.
13.1 We may terminate this Agreement and your use of our Site with you immediately and without notice if you:
- (a) if you commit a material or persistent breach of these Terms;
- (c) in any other circumstances where we reasonably consider your use of our Site is in contravention of these Terms or any applicable law.
13.2 On termination for any reason:
- (a) all rights granted to you under these Terms shall cease;
- (b) you must immediately cease all activities authorised by this Agreement, including your use of any Services;
- (c) if you use our App, you must immediately delete or remove the App from all Devices, and immediately destroy all copies of the App then in your possession, custody or control and certify to us that you have done so if we request;
- (d) we may disable your access to our Services;
- (e) you will continue to be liable for any fees charged by any Legal Adviser under your Engagement Letter; and;
- (f) you will indemnify JURYZ for any losses, damages or claims we sustain as a result of any breach, by you, of our Terms.
14. Reviews on Legal Advisers
14.1 Following submission of your Instruction to a Legal Adviser JURYZ gives you the opportunity to provide reviews on the performance of your Legal Adviser (“Review(s)”) that will be retained by JURYZ. This enables us to monitor the performance of our Legal Advisers to ensure we always retain a bank of recommended Legal Advisers but also enables JURYZ to ensure removal or suspension of any Legal Advisers whose performance we consider below JURYZ standards.
14.2 By using our Services your confirm that any Review provided will be fair, unbiased, honest, genuine and will not contain any defamatory or derogatory statements or inappropriate content and directly linked to the services you receive from your chosen Legal Adviser as a result of use of JURYZ. You agree when providing a Review to comply with the principles and terms of JURYZ Acceptable Use Policy in your evaluation of Legal Advisers. The authenticity and performance of JURYZ Services relies on honest and accurate Reviews and you must ensure any Review you provide is based on your reasonably held opinion on an arms length basis and that you have no personal or commercial relationship with the Legal Adviser in respect of whom the Review is provided.
14.3 Where your Review concerns poor performance of any Legal Adviser, JURYZ takes this very seriously and we therefore believe it is correct to provide our Legal Adviser with a right to respond to any negative Review. Reviews are retained on JURYZ records to enable us to monitor performance on an ongoing basis. However, please note that where you are dissatisfied with your Legal Adviser your formal recourse will be set out either in the Engagement Letter directly with the Legal Adviser or the Solicitor’s Regulations Authority in the case of misconduct where you have not received appropriate response from your Legal Adviser.
14.4 Reviews of Legal Advisers can be viewed by all JURYZ users. JURYZ shall edit or remove any Review that we consider breaches these Terms or our Acceptable Use Policy or where required under any order of any court or regulatory body. We accept no responsibility or liability in respect of content of any Reviews provided by users.
14.5 Please note under no circumstances must you accept any incentive of any kind to provide a Review which will constitute a breach of these Terms. Reviews must be provided entirely independently from the Legal Adviser.
14.6 Reviews are based on direct user experience of Legal Advisers and JURYZ does not endorse content of Reviews at any time and you rely on accuracy and legitimacy of Reviews at your own risk.
15. Communication Between Us
15.1 If you wish to contact us in writing, or if anything in these Terms requires you to give us notice in writing, you can send this to us by e-mail or by prepaid post to our registered office at No.1 Royal Exchange, London, England, EC3V 3DG, United Kingdom. We will confirm receipt of this by contacting you in writing, normally by e-mail.
15.2 If we have to contact you or give you notice in writing, we will do so by e-mail or by pre-paid post to the address you provide to us in your request.
15.3 We shall be happy to supply you with a PDF copy of these Terms upon request to the address set out at clause 15.1 above.
16. Events Outside Our Control
16.1 JURYZ, our Legal Advisers, sub-contractors and our third party providers will not be liable or responsible for any failure to perform, or delay in performance of, any of our obligations under these Terms that is caused by any act or event beyond our reasonable control, including, without limitation, strikes, lock-outs or other industrial disputes; breakdown of systems or network access; or flood, fire, explosion or accident including failure of public or private telecommunications networks ("Event Outside Our Control").
16.2 If an Event Outside Our Control takes place that affects the performance of our obligations under this Agreement:
- (a) our obligations will be suspended and the time for performance of our obligations will be extended for the duration of the Event Outside Our Control, and;
- (b) we will use our reasonable endeavours to find a solution by which our obligations under these Terms may be performed despite the Event Outside Our Control, however, if it continues for a longer period than we feel is reasonable or the Event Outside Our Control restricts the ability of JURYZ to provide our Services we shall have the right to withdraw from the obligations to perform our Services to you under these Terms. Please be aware that despite being unable to continue to use our Services in these circumstances you may be responsible for fees incurred by Legal Advisers in respect of Services already performed on your behalf and any suspension of JURYZ Services does not affect any obligations you have to your Legal Adviser under any Letter of Engagement.
17. Other Important Terms
17.1 We may transfer our rights and obligations under this Agreement to another organisation, but this will not affect your rights or our obligations under these Terms.
17.2 You may only transfer your rights or obligations under this Agreement to another person if we agree in writing.
17.3 If we fail to insist that you perform any of your obligations under these Terms, or if we do not enforce our rights against you, or if we delay in doing so, that will not mean that we have waived our rights against you and will not mean that you do not have to comply with those obligations. If we do waive a default by you, we will only do so in writing, and that will not mean that we will automatically waive any later default by you.
17.4 Each of the terms of this Agreement operates separately. If any court or competent authority decides that any of them are unlawful or unenforceable, the remaining Terms will remain in full force and effect.
17.5 This Agreement is between you, as a user of our Site and JURYZ. No one other than a party to this Agreement has any right to enforce any of these Terms.
17.6 Please note that this Agreement, its subject matter and formation, are governed by English law. This means that when you are referred to a Legal Adviser following a search via JURYZ, this Agreement and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with it will be governed by English law and the courts of England and Wales will have exclusive jurisdiction to adjudicate on any dispute. However, if you are a resident of Northern Ireland you may also bring proceedings in Northern Ireland, and if you are resident of Scotland, you may also bring proceedings in Scotland.
